Jaguar Service

Your Jaguar service will take around two hours to complete. After we finish the service, you’ll get your car back immediately, and you’ll have time to talk to the mechanic that worked on your vehicle if you have any questions. We won't keep you waiting around, nor will you lose your car for the entire day.

Because we come to you, you can be assured that our mechanics are focused on your vehicle and your vehicle alone, ensuring efficiency and minimising downtime. Plus, we don’t charge you for our travel time, only our ordinary labour time.

If you have booked in for a larger repair, we’ll let you know how long the car will be out of your hands. In some cases, we can come across a problem during the inspections we complete. However, we never work on anything that you do not approve of, as a part of the discussion about the problem we’ll give you a price and a time to fix it. If it doesn’t suit your schedule to have it repaired immediately, we can book you another time to get the work done.

It used to be that you’d take a new car back to get the Jaguar dealership service, but most people are wise to the fact that this can be an expensive choice. Even if you have Jaguar fixed price servicing, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you're getting the best deal. Price is not the only factor to consider when thinking about where you’ll take your car.

If you’re having your Jaguar service completed with Lube Mobile you won’t need a mechanic ‘near me’ as we’ll come to wherever the car is located. Many people choose to have a car service completed while they're at work as that’s the most convenient method for them.

In a standard Jaguar service (i.e. an annual maintenance service for any vehicle not covered under a manufacturer’s warranty) we’ll cover several items. For the more involved services, such as the three-year and the six-year major services, we’ll cover these basics and a few extra items. If you’re looking for an annual service for a car that has passed its warranty period, we can complete those for you. An annual service will mostly cover lubricant replacement and a safety inspection. For more detailed services, such as your three-year service or your six-year service, it will include the annual service but with a few extra items. For our minor service you can expect the following:
 

• Changing the engine oils and filters

• Under bonnet check and fluids top up

• A safety inspection, including the braking systems

• Inspection of the charging and cooling systems

If you need a Jaguar service for a vehicle that is still covered under warranty, then we’ll need to follow the guidelines as set out in your logbooks. Doing this will make sure your warranty remains valid and you’re covered if anything goes wrong. You can check what needs to be completed by going to the first blank page in your logbook after your last service.
