Apprenticeship Program
Get a head start in your career.
Get a head start in your career.
Lube Mobile's apprenticeship program runs in most states and territories with several entry periods per year. Every successful apprentice is paired up with one of our experienced techs throughout their apprenticeship period to ensure they hit the ground running once qualified.
A Lube Mobile apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leader within the automotive industry. It is also a great way to get a head start in a chosen career or to re-train for the career you’ve always wanted. It combines paid on‑the-job training with formal studies completed at TAFE. Qualifications gained can be used to work anywhere in Australia and around the world.

The apprenticeship program develops highly skilled technicians that will excel in the servicing, diagnosis, and repair of modern motor vehicles.
Lube Mobile delivers superior quality service to our customers whilst maintaining the highest standard of workplace health & safety. Working with our apprenticeship partner TAFE, every apprentice receives the highest quality training, and the opportunity to gain experience in professional workshops with other qualified Lube Mobile mechanics.

How to Apply
Can I buy a Lube Mobile franchise?
No. Lube Mobile is NOT a franchise it is a national company that employs mobile mechanics throughout Australia. We remain a privately owned company, and we have no Franchises, or contractors. All of our mechanics are Lube Mobile employees.
Lube Mobile employs mechanics on a standard 38-hour full-time working week with flexibility for either a 4 or 5-day work arrangement. Weekends are rostered as part of a rotating roster, but Sundays are typically off. As with many mobile service roles, circumstances like appointment volume, location, or travel time can stretch shifts beyond the rostered hours.
Do I have to come to base every day?
No. We will always endeavour to give you details of the next day's first job the previous evening, so you can go straight to that job in the morning. Our first appointments have an arrival time of 8.00am and our last arrival is between 2.00 and 4.00 pm, dependant on your workload.
How much leave can I take?
We do not operate on Christmas and Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day. On other national or local public holidays, we stay open but with a limited crew. As per the Federal Awards, you are entitled to 4 weeks holiday every year, 10 paid sick days and 2 days compassionate leave.
