Lube Mobile operates nationwide, including major hubs like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Hobart and Adelaide. We emphasize career progression and most managers, including the Managing Director, began as mobile mechanics. Roles advertised are direct company employment—not franchises.

How to Apply

Lube Mobile employs mechanics on a standard 38-hour full-time work week with flexibility for either a 4‑ or 5‑day work arrangement. Weekends are rostered as part of a rotating roster, but Sundays are typically off.

Our first appointment has an arrival time of 8.00am through to our last arrival time between 2.00 and 4.00 pm (dependant on workload).

We are closed on Christmas and Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday and Anzac Day. However on other national or local public holidays we are open with a limited crew.

You do not need to bring your own tools if you work as a Mobile Mechanic with Lube Mobile in Australia — every Lube Mobile technician is provided with everything required by the company to perform their work.

Each mechanic operates from a fully stocked, company-supplied van outfitted with modern servicing equipment and tools to perform a wide range of services — from logbook servicing and oil changes to diagnostics and minor repairs.

What do I get?

As a new hire, you will hop into a fully maintained van that’s already set up with everything you need to get on the road, including all your basic workshop equipment like your trolley jack, jack stands, jumper pack, cooling system pressure tester, battery tester, and scan tool. This means your focus is straight on providing top-quality service, not collecting or replacing tools. You’ll also get a uniform, phone or tablet, and access to clients with zero upfront costs.

Lube Mobile offers a great wage package and bonus system, ongoing technical training programs, Genuine Safety Priorities, the use of our van to and from work, a great team environment with plenty of back-up, and the security with a solid company which has been trading since 1982!

The expected base salary for a Mobile Mechanic at Lube Mobile is roughly A$73,000/year, based on advertised listings. With performance bonuses, total earnings can reach well over A$100,000/year.

• • All major repairs are brought back to our fully equipped workshops. No unsafe or inappropriately large jobs are done on site.

• • You're not left to fend for yourself with any problems. Help is just a phone call away. Someone comes to help or it's solved with a call. Either way it's solved.
