While disc rotor brakes have become more popular, drum braking systems are still common. Brake shoes work by applying force on the smooth inner surface of your brake drum, allowing your car to slow down, and will display signs of wear over time.
Lube Mobile will clean out your drum brake system and check the wheel cylinders for brake fluid leaks. Once new brake shoes and or wheel cylinders are fitted we will then bleed your brake system and adjust the drum brakes and your handbrake. We use only quality parts on your vehicle and all our work is backed by our 12 month / 20,000 km nationwide warranty on parts and labour.

How much does brake repair cost?
Not every braking system issue requires a brake pad replacement.
A brake pad on it's own is not expensive, costing between $50 to $100. However, once your brake pads have failed, which is quite common, you must consider changing other parts of your braking system including the brake caliper, brake drums, brake line/hose, brake shoes, disc rotors, wheel cylinders, master cylinder or wheel hub bearing which may be worn. The price of these components will largely depend on the make and model of your car and the overall condition of your braking system.
In instances where a foreign object gets caught inside a brake caliper or there’s dust or moisture between the brake pad and brake rotor disc, our mechanics can perform minor repairs to get them fixed.
