Why Dayton Tyres?

Fully Trained Tyre Technicians - 12 Months Nationwide Warranty - Quality Tyres

Dayton tyres are generally considered to be a good quality tyre with similar benefits to a Bridgestone, without the most advanced technology available. In most cases, a lower-priced tyre will not last as long as a higher-priced one, and a Dayton tyre may not handle as well under various conditions.

Lube Mobile can supply and fit Dayton tyres for most vehicle types, whether that be at your home or other designated location. Every mobile tyre service we do is backed by our 12 month warranty on workmanship, alongside the selected tyres individual manufacturer’s warranty.

It's easy to book a mobile tyre fitting online or call to make an appointment. All we need to get started is your postcode, your tyre size and how many you need. Then we’ll show you an estimate based on the tyres we have available in stock.

For family cars that are travelling short distances (most cars in Australia drive less than 40km/day), Dayton tyres will perform admirably and are more than suitable. If you are driving more than that you may wish to upgrade to a sturdier tyre that will give you greater traction in various conditions.

Tyres with more advanced tread patterns have been shown to reduce stopping time, and this may be something you wish to consider before settling on the tyres for your vehicle.

For the best results, you should have a wheel alignment every 12 months. This will keep your wheel aligned and the tyres wearing properly, and that will extend their life expectancy. You can check for poorly aligned wheels by examining the tread pattern and if you see that your tyres are wearing mainly on the outside of the tread pattern, then that can be a sign of poor wheel alignment.

How much does a Lube Mobile tyre service cost?

We always strive to give you a fixed price up front and let you be in control of costs.

Once we've arrived at your location our tyre experts will thoroughly inspect your tyres including the wheel hub, tyre sidewall and tread pattern. We will then provide you with an itemised quote of the work required to fix or replace your tyres, and will not proceed without your approval. Payment needs to be made at the completion of any tyre service unless new tyres need to be ordered, in which case we will require a deposit on the day of our first visit.

All tyre service and repair costs will differ based on the make and model of your car and the tyre brand preferred if different from your existing tyres. Showing you an itemised job quote before we start keeps you in control of costs and because you can see the work being done at your location, you can ask your mechanic questions directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Dayton tyres are considered a reliable and affordable budget option, offering good everyday performance and strong value for money. Reviews of the Dayton DT30 highlight dependability, good wet‑weather handling, and solid entry‑level performance for daily driving. Dayton tyres are manufactured by Bridgestone, ensuring quality standards while remaining cost‑effective for drivers who want safety without the high price tag. At Lube Mobile, we supply and fit Dayton tyres onsite—making them a convenient, budget‑friendly choice for cars, SUVs and 4WDs.
Tyres need replacing when the tread depth drops below 2–3 mm, when you notice uneven wear, cracks, bulges, or if the tyre is more than 5–6 years old. If your car vibrates while driving or feels unstable in wet conditions, that can also indicate worn tyres. With Lube Mobile, you don’t need to visit a workshop — our mobile mechanics come to your home or workplace to inspect and replace your tyres on the spot, ensuring they meet Australia’s legal minimum tread depth of 1.5 mm for safe driving.
In Australia, old tyres must be disposed of responsibly through licensed recycling facilities due to environmental regulations. Most tyre retailers include a disposal fee and send old tyres to Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) accredited recyclers, who process them into reusable materials like rubber granules, road‑building products and playground surfaces. At Lube Mobile, we ensure your old tyres are handled by reputable recycling partners as part of our commitment to responsible, environmentally-safe disposal. This means your tyres are collected, processed and recycled in line with Australian standards—giving them a second life rather than ending up in landfill.
