BYD Service

Most services booked with Lube Mobile take around two (2) hours to complete. One of the great benefits of Lube Mobile is that once we are finished, you’ll get the car back immediately. No need to take your car to a dealership or to any other workshop  for servicing. Plus, if you get the car serviced while you’re at work, you won’t miss your car at all!

At Lube Mobile when you book in for a BYD service, we’ll provide you with a cost upfront. This means that you won't be surprised when we finish the service. If you’re getting a warranty service then the cost will be controlled by what model you have and what is required to be completed. For most other services it will depend on what sized service you are booked in for, but you’ll be given a cost before you book in as well.

The costs associated with our service can depend on the model of your car, this means that service for a BYD with a smaller engine will generally cost less than one with a larger engine, usually because it will take fewer lubricants and time. For any BYD under warranty, Lube Mobile mechanics will service your car according to exactly what is listed in your logbook. Manufacturers have guidelines that need to be followed for their warranty to remain valid, and as an accredited provider, Lube Mobile will adhere to these guidelines. For any BYD no longer under warranty a standard service should be completed at least once per year. This yearly BYD service will include:

• • Change of engine oil and filter
• • An under the bonnet fluid check and top-up
• • An examination of the charging and ignition systems
• • A brake and safety systems check

In fact, because our mobile mechanics provide mobile service and repairs all over Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin and many other locations, you can always consider us your 'mobile mechanic near me.'

At Lube Mobile we can keep track of all your car services, this is especially great if you no longer have your logbooks, or your car is older than the logbook allows you to fill out (many won't go beyond 200,000km). You can call Lube Mobile if you need a record of your service history and we can provide that for you.

If you are buying a second hand BYD, you can check the logbook for the service history. If it does not have one, you can try calling a BYD service line, as if the car has been serviced at a dealership, they may have a record of it. Alternatively, you can check for a next service sticker on the inside of the windscreen and call the number on that. But if the car has not been taken to the same mechanic, they may not have a record of the service history.
