Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Chrysler Service

  • Fully Qualified Mechanics
  • -
  • 12 Months Nationwide Warranty
  • -
  • Only Quality Parts and Oils Used

At Lube Mobile, we can take care of your Chrysler service, and any other car repairs you may need. As we are a mobile mechanic this means we can come to you and you don’t need to be concerned about getting your car to us. This can save you time and energy as using our services will limit the interruption to your regular schedule. We offer a convenient car service solution, and you can choose when and where your vehicle is serviced.

Booking in for your service is easy and can be completed through our website. You can enter all your details, and we’ll show you the available mechanics (you can choose your preferred mechanic if you like), and what days and times they’re available. Our website is available for bookings 24/7, so if you have that late-night thought about your car needing serviced you can get it booked in! If you'd prefer to talk to a person, you can call our customer service team on 13 30 32, and they’ll get your booking sorted out for you.

When you book in for a Chrysler service if you have more than one car, you can take advantage of the multiple car discount we offer. As we don’t specialise in any particular make of car, you could have a Holden, Ford, Toyota, Kia, Mercedes, Land Rover, Renault, or any other make and we can service that for you at the same time.

How much does Chrysler service cost?

When you book in for a Chrysler service, you’ll be shown the prices that we charge before you confirm a booking. This is perfect if you’re comparing your Chrysler capped price servicing to what we will charge. When you have a Chrysler dealership service your car, often you're paying a premium for specialists to look after your car, and sometimes the costs are a little higher than you may pay elsewhere.

The best way to determine if you're getting the best value from your Chrysler fixed price servicing is to compare it with other mechanics. However, usually you’ll need to book the vehicle in to see what they charge. At Lube Mobile, we believe that being open with our prices is what helps to set us apart from many others.

When you consider pricing, remember that there are hidden costs associated with any workshop service. This includes the time it takes to deliver your vehicle to any workshop, and the costs of getting yourself there and back to work (or home). You’ll also be without your car for a large portion of the day, and if you need that for work your productivity will be reduced.

What is included in Chrysler service?

The inclusions for your Chrysler service all depend on what life stage your car is at, and how long it has been since your last service. For newer cars that are still under their manufacturer's warranty, we’ll need to follow the service recommendations as set out on the logbook. These must be followed for your warranty to remain valid. You can check what needs to happen by turning to the first blank page of your logbook.

Once a vehicle has passed the warranty period, you’ll usually book in for a service every year. These are known as minor services and they’ll include:

  1. An under-bonnet check and fluid refill

  2. Engine oil change and oil filter replacement

  3. A safety check of the vehicle, including the brakes

  4. A check of the cooling and charging systems

For every three and sixth service anniversary, you should book your Chrysler in for a major service. A major service will include everything in a minor service and a few other items. For a complete list on the inclusions, you can check the services page on our website.

How long does Chrysler service take?

For a standard annual Chrysler service, it will take around two (2) hours to complete. In the case of warranty service, it may take a little longer depending on what needs to be completed according to your logbooks. If the service will take longer than two hours, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and give you an approximate time to finish.

In most cases, the time you're booked in for will be enough to complete your service and allow some extra time to take care of any minor car repairs if necessary. If we find anything during the safety inspections that need to be repaired, we’ll talk to you before doing any work on your Chrysler. No work will be completed without authorisation.

How to find a Chrysler mechanic near me?

When you need a Chrysler service at a convenient location, Lube Mobile is the answer. We’ll arrive at your door, or wherever the car is located, and complete your service requirements and you’ll get your car back as soon as we’re finished. This is perfect if you're busy and don't want the hassle of getting your car to a workshop, and then be without your car for most of the day.

At Lube Mobile, we are the mobile mechanic specialists. We operate all over Australia, including a large presence in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and most other towns and cities. You can easily type in your address on our website to find a mobile mechanic that is ‘near me’. We’ll show you how many mechanics we have servicing that area and then you can book one in at a time and place that best suits your schedule. Alternatively, you can call our customer service team (13 30 32) and they’ll let you know how many mobile mechanics are nearby.
