Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Volvo Service

  • Fully Qualified Mechanics
  • -
  • 12 Months Nationwide Warranty
  • -
  • Only Quality Parts and Oils Used

When you need your Volvo service completed you can call on Lube Mobile. Our mobile mechanics will come to your home, workplace, or anywhere your car is parked and complete the car service, and any other car repairs. We provide a quick and convenient service for everyone all over Australia. Our mobile workshop vans operate daily in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and most other towns and cities. This is perfect if you're travelling and need your local mechanic nearby in case of a breakdown.

You can call on Lube Mobile to be there when you need us, and booking is easy through our website (which is available 24/7), or you can call through to our customer service team on 13 30 32, and they’ll get you booked in. During the booking process, you can see our availability and even choose your preferred mechanic. We also offer our customers a warranty on all parts and labour, and as we’re one business (and not franchised) it doesn’t matter if you had your car repaired far from home, you can always return to get it fixed, no problems!

If like many Australians, you have more than one car you can book in for your Volvo service and another vehicle to take advantage of our multiple car discount. As we don’t specialise in any make or model it doesn't matter if you have a Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Mercedes, Jaguar, Hyundai, or a Holden, we can get your services completed and you can save on your costs.

How much does Volvo service cost?

If you have Volvo fixed price servicing it can still be a great idea to check on what others are charging for your Volvo service. At Lube Mobile, you can see what we charge during the booking process. When you enter the details about your location and the services you require, we’ll show you the costs. We believe that being open with our pricing gives our customers enough information to make an informed choice for who they should book in with.

It can be easy to think that your Volvo capped price servicing means that this is the best deal you can get. However, this is often not the case, especially when you factor in the extras such as delivering your vehicle to the workshop and then yourself to work or back home, and then back again to collect your car. Often, you’ll be without your car for all day, or an unknown amount of time so being without your vehicle can also affect your productivity.

What is included in Volvo service?

Almost all cars fall into two categories; those under a manufacturer's warranty, and those that are not. For a Volvo under warranty, the service will need to include anything that is listed in the logbook. Manufacturers have a set number of guidelines that need to be followed for their warranty to remain valid. Luckily checking what is required means only needing to flick to the right page of your logbook and it will state what needs to happen on that particular service.

For all other cars, the Volvo service should be completed at least once per year. This yearly service will include:

  1. A brake and safety inspection

  2. A check of the cooling and charging systems

  3. An engine oil change, including the filter

  4. An under the bonnet check, and top up of fluids

This is our minor service and covers the basics to keep your car in excellent condition. A major service needs to be completed every three years. If you’re not sure when the vehicle was last serviced (for example, you recently purchased it) then we’d recommend booking it in for a major service to get everything back on track.

How long does Volvo service take?

All our bookings for a Volvo service are completed in around two (2) hours. During your service, we’ll perform many safety checks and if anything needs to be repaired, we’ll call you with our recommendation before doing any unauthorised work. If we need your Volvo for longer than is usually required, we’ll let you know.

As we are mobile, you’ll be given your vehicle back immediately after we’re finished with the service. In the case that your vehicle doesn’t take the full two hours to complete, you’ll get it back earlier than expected. This is perfect if you have other things to do that day and you need your car to get them done!

How to find a Volvo mechanic near me?

If you’re looking for a mechanic ‘near me’, it’s probably because you don't want the hassle and expense that comes with taking your car to a dealership or workshop for your Volvo service. At Lube Mobile, we have solved this problem as we’ll come to you. We operate all over Australia, so we’ll never be that far away and you can consider us to be the local mechanics no matter where you are. Our vans carry all the equipment that you’d normally find in a workshop and our skilled mechanics can perform almost any repairs as required.

If you’re looking for a service that is comparable to a Volvo dealership service, then Lube Mobile can be the answer. Our mechanics can stamp and sign your logbooks so you’ll keep your warranty current and valid. In addition to that, all of the work and parts we supply are covered under the Lube Mobile warranty.
