Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Lexus Service

  • Fully Qualified Mechanics
  • -
  • 12 Months Nationwide Warranty
  • -
  • Only Quality Parts and Oils Used

At Lube Mobile, we can perform a Lexus service to keep your vehicle running properly. All our skilled mechanics are capable of providing a suitable car service that will satisfy your manufacturer's warranty. In addition to our services, we can also complete most car repairs on location. For larger repairs, we can arrange to have your car transported to our workshop, where we have access to car lifts.

As an Australian wide businessVolvo Service | Volvo Repair | Volvo Maintenance, we operate in all major cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and most other towns and cities. All our operators are employed by Lube Mobile and we’re not a franchised business. As we offer a warranty on all parts and labour, your car is covered no matter if you had your car serviced at your home or by a Lube Mobile mechanic on the other side of the country!

Booking for one of our mobile mechanics is easy through our website. You can fill in your details and choose a day, time, and place that suits your schedule. It’s even possible to choose your particular mechanic! All our prices are available on the website so you’ll always know how much the service will cost, and you won't be surprised by a large bill at the end of the service.

What is included in Lexus service?

For the inclusion on your Lexus service it all depends on two possibilities; if your vehicle is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty or not. For a warranty service, it must follow the guidelines as set out in your logbooks, otherwise, your warranty will be marked as invalid. You can check what is covered by looking in your logbook and turning to the first blank page. Here it will have everything outlined. At Lube Mobile, we’ll complete what is required and stamp and sign your logbook to keep your warranty secure.

All other vehicles will need an annual minor service completed, and a major service completed every three and six years. All of these services differ slightly, but at a basic level they all include these items:

  1. Changing the engine oil and filter

  2. An under the bonnet check and fluids refill

  3. An inspection of the braking and other safety systems

  4. An examination of the charging and cooling systems

During the service, if we find anything unusual that should be repaired, we’ll contact you and offer our advice on what should be repaired. We won’t complete any work without your permission.

How much does Lexus service cost?

When you book in for your regular annual Lexus service through our website, you’ll be given a cost before the final booking confirmation. This allows you to check if our prices are comparable to your Lexus fixed price servicing. When comparing prices, consider the time and costs involved with delivering your car to the dealership, and how you’ll get back home, and then return to pick your car up at the end of the day. All of these little extras can make your Lexus capped price servicing more expensive than you first realised.

As Lube Mobile comes to you, you’ll save on the time and costs involved with delivering your vehicle to a workshop. Additionally, because we don’t specialise in any make or model, if you have more than one car, we can offer multiple car discounts. So, in addition to your Lexus service, we can complete service on other makes such as Ford, Holden, Toyota, Mercedes, Hyundai, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, or any other manufacturer.

How long does Lexus service take?

For a standard Lexus service, the time to complete it will be around two (2) hours. This will give us enough time to finish everything required and perform a detailed safety inspection. If we encounter any problems that need to be repaired, we’ll contact you and offer a time to fix and the costs involved. If we can’t fix the problem at the same time as your booking we can arrange for another time and date. If the problem is not urgent, it can be scheduled for repair when your next service is due.

If you need a warranty service completed these can take a little longer as we need to adhere to the service schedule as laid out in your logbooks. We can tell you at the time of booking the approximate time to complete your service. However, as we come to your vehicle to complete the service, you’ll get your car back as soon as we’re finished.

How to get Lexus service history?

If you’re not sure about your Lexus service history, you can try checking the vehicle’s logbooks. All warranty services should have been signed, stamped, and dated in this book as required to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.

If you can’t find the logbooks, you can try calling the Lexus customer service line, they’ll have a record of the car's history if it had a Lexus dealership service completed. Alternatively, you can look for the service sticker, often placed on the inside of the windscreen, and call the workshop that completed the services.

If the vehicle has had the services completed through Lube Mobile you can call our customer service team, on 13 30 32, and we can provide you with the service history of your vehicle. We keep records on all the vehicles we service, so if there is ever a problem encountered it will be covered under our warranty on parts and labour.
