When you book any mobile tyre service with Lube Mobile you can expect an experienced professional to arrive at your location with everything required to repair or replace one or all of your tyres. As standard we will perform the following tasks:

Most tyre services shouldn't take more than two hours and all work completed comes with our 12-month workmanship warranty.

How much does a Lube Mobile tyre service cost?
We always strive to give you a fixed price up front and let you be in control of costs.
Once we've arrived at your location our tyre experts will thoroughly inspect your tyres including the wheel hub, tyre sidewall and tread pattern. We will then provide you with an itemised quote of the work required to fix or replace your tyres, and will not proceed without your approval. Payment needs to be made at the completion of any tyre service unless new tyres need to be ordered, in which case we will require a deposit on the day of our first visit.
All tyre service and repair costs will differ based on the make and model of your car and the tyre brand preferred if different from your existing tyres. Showing you an itemised job quote before we start keeps you in control of costs and because you can see the work being done at your location, you can ask your mechanic questions directly.

What tyres should I buy for my car?
At Lube Mobile, we stock tyres that suit most makes and models. While many manufacturers won’t recommend one brand over another, if you prefer, you can stick with the brand of tyre that came with the car. If you bought your car second-hand, you can either stay with the brand that’s currently on the car or choose one that is more suitable. Tyres work best when installed in pairs, so try to keep the same brand for either the front wheels or the rear wheels.
With our mobile tyre service, we’ll arrive on time and replace your tyres with those that are most suitable for your particular needs. All tyres that are sold in Australia must comply with Australian safety standards. However, usually a lower-priced tyre will wear faster than others. This is caused by the tyre being made of a softer type of rubber. While going for the cheapest tyre may seem like a good idea, especially if you’re on a tight budget, often this can cost you more in the long run. You may get about a year out of a budget tyre, whereas a slightly more expensive tyre may last two or three. How long will tyres last?
This is a question that, as a mobile tyre service provider, we get many times. Unfortunately, there is no real answer as there are many different variables that go into the wearing of tyres. However, we have found that under good driving conditions, which include driving style, road types, and weather, you can expect to get around 30,000km - 50,000km out of a set of tyres. As most people drive around 15,000km in a year, this will mean roughly 2-4 years.
The tyres on your vehicle are commonly referred to as the most important thing on your car, as they’re what connect you to the road. The wrong tyres or poorly maintained tyres can affect your ability to drive in certain conditions. We recommend having your tyres inspected regularly by a professional team. The most common cause of premature tyre wear is underinflated tyres. You should be checking your tyre pressure about once per fortnight. This will give you a good idea if any problems need to be addressed, especially if your tyre pressures are consistently out.

Is Lube Mobile a breakdown service?
No. We are not a breakdown service like the RAA, RACV, AAA or NRMA.
However, if your car does break down on the roadside in a location that is safe, ie. not a motorway or highway and with a speed limit of 60km/h or less, and we have a mobile mechanic available in that area, we may be able to assist once a timeslot becomes available.
