Safety Service
* Price includes coming to you, labour and parts. Surcharges can apply for European Car, 4WD, Diesel, Platinum spark plugs, certain oils and filters.
This car service comprises an oil change, lubrication of all grease points and an inspection and test of the battery and cooling system including radiator, cap, hoses and clamps. All belts and wiper blades are checked and under bonnet fluid levels are topped up if necessary. We will remove all four wheels, clean, check and adjust the brakes including the handbrake.
Also we perform a safety inspection of the front and rear suspension, exhaust and steering components. We check the transmission and differential and top up if necessary. Finally a road test will be performed to check for any other possible problems and to ensure all the work performed was satisfactory.
Under Bonnet:
- Replace Engine Oil
- Replace Oil Filter
- Inspect Engine For Oil Leaks
- Load test battery
Inspect and/or top up if required:
- Clutch & Brake Master Cylinder Fluid
- Power Steering Fluid
- Radiator Coolant Level
- Radiator Coolant Condition
- Windscreen Washers and fluid
- Horn, Lights and Wipers
- Drive Belts
- Battery Electrolyte Level
- Apply Tyre Shine
Cooling System Condition:
- Inspect Radiator
- Inspect Water Pump & Fan Clutch
- Inspect Radiator Hoses
- Heater Tap
- Inspect Welsh Plugs
- Inspect Hose Clamps
- Pressure Test Cooling System
- Inspect And Adjust Fan Belts
Under Car:
- Check all brakes
- Adjust handbrake
- Check all shock absorbers/struts
- Check all steering components
- Lubricate steering stops
- Check security of all fuel hoses/pipes
- Check exhaust for security and leaks
- Check tyres and pressures
Road Test:
- Check & Report On Vehicle For Engine Performance, Braking, Steering, Suspension And Operation Of All Accessories & Lights
